Command CGP · Injection Molding

Command IM™ — Commercial Governance for injection molding.

One governed record for the numbers this process turns into margin — cost, quote, price, and the history behind each of them.

The Process

Where cost lives in injection molding.

In injection molding, cost lives in cycle seconds, cavitation, resin price and regrind, press tonnage, and the machine rate of the press the tool actually runs on. Family tools, multi-tool setups, and secondary operations move the number further. A quote is a bet that today's cycle and today's resin price will still describe the job when it runs.

When any of those inputs move — the resin index shifts, the cycle drifts, the tool moves to a different press — the price that was defensible on the day it was committed may no longer cover the cost. Without governance, that gap only surfaces at close.

Governance means the record knows the tool, the cavitation, the cycle, the material, and the rate — and keeps knowing when they change. Command IM is the record that stays current with the press floor.

Flagship

First in the Command CGP suite.

Command IM is bolt BI's flagship product.

Injection molding went first for one reason: nothing else comes close to this many ways to get a cost wrong.

millions of combinations. Per shop.

Now multiply by every customer and thousands of active items — each with its own recipe.

There is a reason no software has ever effectively governed the commercial side of injection molding.

Until now.

Command IM was designed, built, and validated to manage every one of these variables — at the click of a button.

Included

Everything Command CGP provides.

Command IM is the injection molding instance of the platform. The full governance surface comes with it.

  • Governed records

One current record per item; complete preserved history; deliberate, attributed change.

  • Current cost

Machine rates, labor, purchased items, and material assumptions maintained as governed master data — item costs stay connected to them.

  • Margin Defender

Continuous surveillance of the gap between governed cost and committed price. Drift is visible when it happens, not at quarter close.

  • Pricing Lab

The working surface for pricing decisions — current cost, candidate prices, tiers, and margin impact against the record.

  • RFQs

Commercial intake connected to the same records: what was assumed, what was quoted, what changed.

  • Projects

Execution tracking against the governed record so commitments and changes stay attributable.

  • Forecasting

Demand expectations grounded in governed commercial data rather than parallel spreadsheets.

  • Planning

Capacity and purchase planning derived from the same records that priced the work.

One Team

Every role works from the same record.

Sales, Estimation, Purchasing, PMO, Engineering, Production, Accounting, and leadership look at one governed source — not ten spreadsheets that used to agree.
